    Default It came today!

My new Waring 1550 commercial 240V 3850W 2 gal. capacity deep fryer.

I had to make an extension cord because the plug didn't match my 220 outlet and the cord wasn't long enough, but it's ready to fry now!

It only took 9 minutes to heat 2 gal of oil from room temp to 400. I think I'm gonna like it!

Thanx for letting me run on. I'm just kinda excited.

Just used it for the first time. I put a pound of smoked sausage on a stick, 2 Johnsonville brats on sticks, and about 1/2# frozen breaded mushrooms in it. it started off at 375. It dropped to 325, but one minute later, it was back up to 375. I thinkn I'm gonna like it.

NICE but if your gonna fry fish, 350* is the way to go.

I love my fryer as well. I just hate to clean it even though it's fairly simple to clean.

I like 400 for thin fillets like crappie. thicker cuts like cod are OK at 350.

I will prolly have to change my thoughts though because all previous fryers dropped temp so bad when you put the meat in the oil.

I usually compromise and try to hit 375 for all deep fried seafood. I
Use a bayou classic burner and a stainless pan that I welded up. If you ain't usin Andys breading you oughta give it a try. You won't be sorry.

    Sweet fryer by the way.

If it didn't matter it wouldn't matter!!!
