    Default 22.5 WSM or rotisserie?

Which is a better option, a 22.5 WSM or a rotisserie added to my 22.5 OTS?

I have an 18" WSM and was selling my OTS to put towards the bigger WSM, but I would realy like to have a rotisserie option.

Does the rotisserie ring fit the larger WSM so I can have the best of both worlds?

Any pros or cons on either would be appreciated.

    Thank you
    Jay

Looks like I will go with the rotisserie. A guy at work got one and seems to like it.

Maybe I should spend less time on the net and more time talking to people at work. Then again, maybe not.

Well, it seems you have your answer already. I've never had a WSM, but hear a lotta good stuff about them. I love rotissin' and I love smokin'. That being said, I'd say go for both if you can afford to. The 22.5 rotiss. should fit both. My

Whatever you do we wanna see it, so hurry back with pics and good food!

    Here is my 2 cents....

Keep the OTS, it is the most versatile piece of cooking equipment you could hope for. With the OTS you can:

    1) Add a rotissire (as mentioned above the rib-o-lator one is nice) there are several to choose from.

    2) for times you want to smoke more than your WSM can manage, you can add a Cajun bandit or Smoke-EZ centersection and have a fully capable smoker.

    3) add a pizza oven center section.

I thought I was confused before.

I was going to get the Weber rotisserie, want the ribolater, and really want the Cajun bandit.

If I go for the cajun bandit, should I get the conversion kit and their rotisserie or the conversion and the Weber rotisserie?

    Thank you
    Jay

Edit: I have been reading that the rotisserie does not fit into the conversion kit. I have sent them a message to find out if it does or not.

    Damn. That looks good.

So this is what I decided. Ordered a rib-o-later and getting the rotisserie bundle from cajun bandit.

So much for selling my kettle. At least the Traeger is still for sale.

My thanks to everyone for their help.

I really like the Cajun Bandit over the Weber ring but I am pretty sure the their ring will not work with their smoker mod they make for the Weber kettle.

I have the Weber rotisserie and a UDS instead of the 22.5 WSM and am very happy with my setup. I wished I had gotten the Cajun Bandit rotisserie but I ordered the Weber one a couple of days before they released the CB ring.
