Sourdough Pizza Supreme

Hi Folks, Been out of touch for a while. Mamas home from the hospital and no more serguries, all successful.

This is one of her favorite foods that I make in the grill. The longest segment to this pie is the proofing stages ( two of them ) taking app. 20 hrs. Gets the dough to about the same stage as the S.F. sourdough. Missed a few pics as the hands were doughy and hard to use the camera.

Recipe will make two 18" pies.

Hot Italian sausage 1/2 done.

Starting veggies.


Red onion, peppers, and mushrooms 1/2 done.This is necessary because 12 mins. isn't long enough to cook them in the pie.

While veggies and sausage are cooling, ready the grill.

First pie with cheese rolled into crust and sauce.

First layer of cheese.

Veggies and hard wine salami.

Hot Italian sausage.

Last layer of cheese and added sun dried tomatoes. Brushed crust with oil.

At last, a lot of pepperoni.

Transfer pizza to parchment paper covered piel.

After 12 mins. + or - @ 550 degs. turning 1/3 every 4 mins. this pie is done. Break out the salad, dipping sauce for the crust, and don't forget the brewskies and vino.
