I took the liberty of merging the 3 different Joplin Threads to keep things all in one place, so if the thread seems incoherent at certain spots, that's why.
I hope this finds all of our Missouri Brothers and Sisters well.

Good to hear you guys are ok. Thoughts and prayers to those in the Joplin area.

Mistakes - It could be that the purpose of your life is only to serve as a warning to others.

Glad to hear all are alive and Q'uing. I'm sure once the Newsies can't find anybody crying, they'll move on to the next sensationalized storm related story, which will be how global climate change caused this storm.

We are near neighbors to Joplin.

I see that we, as well as Joplin have an "Extreme Danger" warning for this evening. They are very hesitant to issue these warnings. In fact, this was only the second one this year, and the first one was the day of the Alabama tornado outbreak.

so, in other words, Joplin is in the bulls eye agian today, as are all the folks in central and north eastern Oklahoma.

Everyone keep their fingers crossed for all of us.

Been lotsa funnels tonight and this afternoon, from El Reno clear to Haskell, Stillwater included, but all we got was a light show and a little wind and rain.

Around here, if you run and hide every time they have a forecast like this one you don't get much doen this time of year.

    Thanx for checking in Doug!
