    Default New Member Introduction Contest

The purpose of this contest is to encourage new members to go ahead and say hello and join the community for discussions.

In order to participate , you must be a first time poster. If you have already registered and not posted as yet, you are in. Or be a new member that has register after this contest has started.

All you have to do is post an introduction IN THIS THREAD.

the contest will run through the end of May 2011. the new members with the most subsequent posts will be proclaimed winners. How many places are awarded and the nature of the prizes will be announced at a later date and will be determined by the level of participation, but they will be good prizes.

Maybe an instant read thermometer, or remote thermometer, perhaps some sauces or rubs, and we do have a commitment for Peculiar Mike for some of his world famous home made apple butter.

    So let the contest begin.

For the record, existing users, don't be a cheater and try to re register just to beat out the legit new users. the mod staff will be double checking for duplicate registrations as usual. And shame on you for even thinking it. That's right, legit new users only!
