    Default Houston, we have a...

    ...source for apple wood! Actually a couple that I know of.



    This bag came from Academy Sports. It's now also available at Kroger. Both retail it at $7.99. Same size bag of hickory, mesquite, or pecan goes for $4.59 or so. So the apple is much higher, but still not a bad deal considering I wasn't able to get it at all until now.

    Decent size chunks for a drum.

    Now if someone would just come out with cherry...

    We have a local fireplace and patio store that sells ten pound ice bags full of your species choice for six bucks. How big is that bag? Ill ck out my local academy.

    .32 cubic feet. No weight specified. Probly 8 lbs. or so.
