    Default sourdough in the DO

    A buddy from the ring sent me some of his starter and it keeps gettin better and better thanks Tom C i formed the the loaf let it rise over about 12hrs then punched it back down let it rise again for about 3-4 hours baked it at 400 for 40mins then took it down to 375 for 15mins this thing has a wonderful sour taste

    Thank you guys!!!!!!!!. i received my starter from a friend from the thesomkering.com (Tom C). i got it in dry form and activated it about 3 weeks ago.

    Everyone I know thinks I'm crazy for loving SD bread, I think they are crazy for not loving it! My grandma made it for me all the time when I was little and I would eat dang near the entire loaf.

    Nothing beats homemade bread. The smell and tastes are out of this world. You keep rockin out those sourdough loaves and let the rest of em eat store bought.
