    Default UDS Double Stack???

    Has anyone tried or have any ideas about stacking a whole 55 gallon barrel on existing UDS and clamping with the barrel lid clamp ring??? I'm trying to make snack sticks and need the room to hang them. Will it hold heat/get up to temperature (120-170 deg)? Any comments or ideas would be appreciated.

    I don't know why it wouldn't work, and those temps would definitely not be an issue.

    My only question would be how you would go about accessing the product in the smoker.

    It would only be approx 6 ft tall, I would use a step stool/ladder . I did a 5 lb. batch on my grill in the uds and it was done in approx. 3 hrs.I'm considering putting some hanging rods to loop my snack stics on.I think if I can get a uniform heat it will work.

    Some one did something like that. It was the inspiration for the Topper. Not a doublestack but similar. I think it could be done.
