    Default cake with daddy

my little girl wanted to make a cake with daddy. I know it was in a box but its what we had on hand. I thought to myself I could just cook it according to the box or we could have some fun.

Is parchment paper a no no????

Some apples that were about to turn

    sprinkled with cinnamon

The package came with some Carmel sauce

I poured the rest of the cake mix on top and the rest of the Carmel sauce baked at 350 for 45 minutes

I spread some strawberry jam on top and sprinkled with Turbinado sugar in for another 45 at 350

    Done

Nothin' wrong with a box cake. That first sentence right there makes it magic. Thanks to you and your little one for a very special treat.
