Posting pictures
Just a tip for all the new folks as of late. We extend a warm welcome to all and we're glad you've joined our group, but it seems that alot of you may not know how to post full size pics yet. A lot of the guys here (like me) are old farts and just can't see the tiny pics very well. We want to see your pics in all there splendor! There is a very good tutorial here written by our own Glued2it:

For those you who had trouble navigating through the changes at photobucket, They have changed it again, and it has become more user friendly than ever.
Thanks and don't forget. we love our pics here.

Just some fyi for anyone interested. I use tinypic.
www.tinypic.com
It's free, easy to use and has scads of free hosting space.
Here's a sample of the size pic you can post.

You can make your own folder/folders too.

Curt, mouse over the small pix and they get bigger, but I'm with you, I like the bigger ones better.
Only prollem is that some folks set their default maximum size so large on their Photobucket account that you end up having to scroll back and forth to se the whole pic, and it is that way for the whole thread after that.
I just tried tinypic and uploaded this:

It was quick and easy, and I didn't even have to open an account.
I don;t mind using my PB account though as it is easy to manage.
BTW Toast, gotta love the mud bugs!

I see my upload with tinypic did exactly what I was talking about.

That is one cute baby you have there!
You can adjust the size of the pic uploaded to forum size ....

I don;t know how to go back and resize it, or for that matter, even find it.

I agree!
It is Farkin Rude to do this and simply lazy. I just skip the threads that have these huge pictures. I also skip the threads with the tiny weenee pictures as well. As long as I am on a rant I also hate those thumb nails that pop up larger. They never pop up big enough for anyone to be able to see anything. I always come away feeling robbed. We love our picture but please learn how to post the right size pictures if you really want to to read.
It is nice to have a million mega pixel camera. However, If you set the resolution to 1 mega pixel then the pictures are of a managable size and do not waste server space as well. For an example, Pictures taken with 7 mega pixil resolution use approximately 2.3 mb and same picture taken with a resolution setting of 1 mega pixel is approximately 150 kb.
Now isn't it really a pain to zoom in and out and scroll from side to side to read this post. It just is not worth the effort for me and I will continue to blow off these posts. Just my 2 cents.
