    I think you had better throw it out. it appears to have been sitting so long that it has started to grow fungus.

    Yep, . I really like onions and green peppers, and mushrooms are great in soups.

    Wife makes a good "normal" chili, but w/beans. I was go'n for something new.

    I also tend to try to clean out the fridge when I make soup or do a boil.

    Use cream cheese in chili for yrs ,dang good too .

    Some lesser experienced cooks(like BigAl) just think that adding a can of cream of mushroom soup makes something "gourmet".

    Neighbor puts it in along with favorite hot sauce and serves it as a dip with tortilla chips.
