    Default Cream Cheese in Chili?

Anyone ever tried it? Stupid idea? I've got 1/2 of a brick of cream cheese and thought about use'n it in chili I'm make'n today.

Might be stupid, I tend to go overboard sometimes.

    What do you Turds think?

I've heard of and tried a dollop of sour cream placed on the top of the chili just before serving. It's very good.
Cream cheese that was softened and then run in a blender or processor (creamed) might work and have a similar effect as the sour cream, but I'm not sure how it would be if you cooked it into the chili itself. Too much may effect the texture and taste. Go slow with it and let us know what happens.

I might use it as a topping, but I don't think I would "cook" it into the chili.

I agree with everybody else, try it as a topping.

I should do it just to be a turd, but I'm not gonna. I have sour cream as an add on, never had it on chili. I usually add enough crackers to soak up the grease and maybe some cheese and that is it.

Thanks for the help guys. I can always count on you.
