    Default My Reverse Flow Smoker

It has occured to me that I never posted any pictures of my smoker build, so here they are. I'm missing some of the build pictures, but I'll post what I have.

120 Gallon propane tank, from an old propane powered Ford pickup.

    First cut...

Got a couple of sheets of 1/4" plate, scored them, and bent them around each other for the firebox.

I don't have any more build photos, but here is the result..

The finished reverse plate. Also made out of 1/4" plate.

    view from the firebox..

    2 grates..

The finished product.. It's not too pretty, and most of the welds look bad, but I did it all myself and it works! I need to get it sand blasted and repainted this winter.
    Thanks for looking!

Don't apologize for the welding, most of us can't weld at all. I hope she serves you well!

Lefty, Man that looks like it's going to be one hell of a burner.

She looks like she will serve you well!

Is the intake on the front the only intake, or is there one on the end of the firebox as well?

There is another intake on the other side like the one visibile. After cooking on it a few times, i think it needs a bigger stack. I might try and tackle that this winter as well.
