    Default My first cook

Oscar and Ruby were nice enough to send me home with a 10 inch Dutch Oven.I was off today so I decided it was time to give it a whirl!

I just made a cherry dump cake.

I used the drum to cook it in because it worked for a wind break.I covered a pizza pan with foil and put the coals on the bottom on that.

    Finished.

In a Bowl with some French vanilla.

    Thank you Oscar and Ruby!!!!

Looks great Paul. Dump cakes are addictive. They are like abt's, your imagination is the limit on what you can use as the filling. Haven't made one that I didn't like yet, just some better than others.

Paul you did good and Oscar and Ruby did very well by awarding you a Dutch Oven. Looks like you are going to put it to good use. THANKS for sharing that first cook with us. Nice wind break idea.
