    Default Greetings from central IL

Hello all - Finally getting around to introducing myself, Chargrilled turned me on to this website a while back. Since that time, I have really enjoyed reading all the threads (especially the pictures) and have gained a lot of knowledge from your experiences.

My name is Adam, married with two young children, and I hail from Champaign, Illinois. I have enjoyed cooking since I can remember. Until last fall, most of my outdoor cooking experiences were on a Weber using direct/indirect heat. Last October I got a Char-griller pro with a side firebox and since then I have been slowly learning the low and slow over smoke method. Truthfully, I was getting kind of frustrated with my results until I started using the knowledge within this web site. Last weekend I did my first Boston Butt, wholly hog did it turn out fantastic! I feel reinvigorated! Glad to be apart of this website and I have learned so much from all of ya’ll and I look forward to sharing my experiences with you as well!
    Cheers!

Welcome to the Q joint, SmokeN. Glad your CG with the SFB is working well for you. I've got a CG Duo with SFB and I'm loving it. I think you'll find these folks very helpful here. I know I sure have.

I look forward to seeing pics of your next Q dish.
