    Default LoneStar Custom Pits

I'm sorry to say that LoneStar Custom Pits has closed their doors. I had written Tom this morning to tell him about the rave reviews I got about my pit at the Valpo 2010 gathering. Tom responded he was glad to hear things were going well but he sadly informed me that he had to close doors last week due to the state of the economy.

No Brian, Dave Klose isn't shutting down, Lone Star Customs is.

They made a pit that is kinda of Klose look alike.

I think Glen has one. Glen, which model is yours?

    Here is the Klose unit:

Terrible news Glenn as I was one of the guys salivating over the workmanship put into that pit. Esp for the $.

    One less pit fabricator .

Nice to see that Dave Klose has found the site. I have seen his work and visited with him down at MIM couple of years ago. Super nice guy and very informative, I suppose he gets dumb questions like mine all the time and answered each one of them with a smile.

Not to mention thinking out of the box in pit designs!!!!
