What seems to be the difficulty in finding what you want?

seems to be few for sale or around... craigslist in texas is loaded but distance would be the issue... i've got a call into a guy south of atlanta... haven't heard back... a 48 patio seems to be hard to find for a decent price... it doesnt have to be a LANG, just something with decent quality with reverse flow... Im starting to open up to the idea of a small trailer mount unit... they seem to be a dime a dozen around here

Be careful about the Lang's for thin walls. There for a while, they were building some pretty thin walled units.

They eventually went to rolling their own barrels.

Why don't you just drive down and pick up a new Lang from the factory? Not that long of a drive from where you live. Would be a nice road-trip.

    A new 36" backyard runs $750 - $850
    A new 48" backyard runs $1595

Both are in the price range you stated. Then you would have a new smoker to start using.
