Default C&C grillin Co. rotisserie kit

I haven't seen much information posted on these. I see a lot of people are using the Weber or EZ-Que rotisseries. Does anybody have any input on the C&C rotisserie setup? I was wanting to get a rotisserie for my UDS and it seems this might fit without any modifications. Plus I could use it on my Weber if I wanted.

I don't know anything about them, but I dohave an EZ QUE. It is great, but they have kinda gone to he!! and yu can't get ahold of them anymore. They separated from Weber a few years back.

EZ Que will not reply to inquiries of any sort. Looks like they are defunct.
They had a good product too.

Agreed. They had a bug or two which could have been worked out too.

If you call, you just keep getting a busy signal. You would think that they would turn off the phone line instead.

Per C&C - Regarding their stainless ring -

"It also fits Ugly Drum Smokers. Due to variations by manufactures make sure the drum measures 22 9/16th across before you order. This is the most common size for 55 gallon drums."

    Ring only price - $119.00
    Ring & rotiss kit - $149.00

I'd like to see/hear their 12V rotiss motor in action. That's the weak link in any rotiss.
They also say about any rotiss will work with their stainless ring, Rib-O-Later too.

I measured my drum and its 22 9/16"..... I may just pull the trigger. Rib-o-Later sells this ring as a kit for $150. This may be the set up I need. I would like to get a regular spit though so I could do whole Turkeys for the Holidays.

    We shall see.
