Full-Time RVer with RV pad in Rockport, Texas

Default Another new guy AND from Texas

I made a post to the "pork" section and it was suggested that I say a little something here.

For years I have been known for my steaks and hand-made Margaritas. I now have an interest in smoking meats and becoming equally capable.

We are full-time RVers and travel with only a Weber Q100. We have an RV pad in Rockport Texas where I also have a Q300 in my shed.

The only smoking I have ever done was with the ECB. I actually recovered this ECB from the curb in our alley just before the garbage truck came by. I cleaned it up and produced some pretty good chicken.

I am now ready to advance with the big boys and girls. My space is limited in the motorhome and may only get to smoke when I am at my 1/4 acre Ranch in south Texas.

Thats about it for me. I look forward to learning and burning.

Howdy, Barry, and welcome! I hope you'll share some pics and details of those 'ritas and steaks.

Sounds like you've caught the smoking bug, and this is just the place to to help. Don't be afraid to jump in and ask questions. This group'll be glad to give you advice.

Howdy, Barry! We're glad you're here. Iffin' you get up this way, please let me know, or any of the others here in NE Oklahoma. We'd be delighted to meet ya. I'm an RV'er myself, although I've not yet gone full time. I hope to do so some day, though!

All kidding aside if my wife would do it without "the look" I would try to transfer to Maxton, NC. I love the southeast, good for you living in Ga.
