Default Pizza, third time is a charm!

Here we go. Third time went great! Here are the pics and info on what I did:

    Homemade Pizza Stone

Ground beef, sauteed onions and garlic, pepperoni, prior to "cheeseing"

    Cheesed!

Cooked at 475 degrees. I slid it onto the bricks and let it cook for about 4 minutes prior to closing the lid for another 3-4 minutes. It turned out really well. The thicker parts of the outer crust were a tiny bit doughy but overall a pretty good product.

2nd Pizza, cut up deer hot links, 350-375 degrees for about 10-12 minutes, lid closed the whole time. The bottom crust was a little more brown but not overdone at all. The top looks less done but actually turned out really well.

I think I like the hotter temps of the first pizza but will leave it on a couple of more minutes before closing the lid to brown up the bottom a little more. Overall a good experience. Persistance does pay off. On that note I think I'll have another beer!

Yep, I used Shiz Nits recipe from his 3-way pizza pie thread below. This is the first time I've made a yeast product and thought it would be much more difficult. Provided I keep the dough warm enough, it rises nicely. I have a gas oven that vents out the top and I have been turning on the oven to 170 and setting the bowl about 6-8 inches from the vent then turning it a quarter of a turn every 15 minutes or so. Not sure all that is necessary but it's worked nicely so far.
