    Default Pizza Success

Tried making pizzas a couple of times in the past and they never came out right. They were edible but just barely.

Decided to try again tonight and WOW!! Best pizza I have had in a very long time. Set up my grill the way Shiz- Nit suggested using a pizza stone on top of some bricksin a previous post, Thanks for the advice Shiz-Nit!!!

Made two pizzas. One with just peperoni and cheese using regular Trader Joes pizza doughfor the kids

The other with Peperoni, cheese and jalapenos on half(Wife's) and the same on the other side plus green olives and onion(Mine) and used a herb garlic pizza dough from Trader Joes.

I wish we had Trader Joe's.

    Great looking pizzas John.

Can we see a pictorial on the stone set up?

Yes, I used the lid. It was a tight fit but I got it on.

The thermometer on my Performer was reading 475*. I only used one chimney of charcoal and should have used a little more since temps were dropping cooking the second pizza.
