Default Japanese style tri tip on the FEC

The Okette said steak for dinner, and I needed to break in the FEC, so I marinated a tri tip in a Japanese terryaki marinade and threw it on at 375°.

About 35 minutes later It was at 130°, very tender and very juicy.

The Okette made a little pilaf and some sautéed broccolini w/ pancetta and pine nuts. Great meal. Hope you enjoy looking.

Very nice Tim. Good team effort for the meal too. She's too good to you. Looks to be very tender and tastey. Thanks for sharing

No doubt, the FEC cookers are the reigning king of the pellet smoker. Nothing else compares. They are not grills though, just smoke ovens.
