Default Memphis Pro Wood Fired Grill

I told Tim that I would show pics of my new pellet cooker...

It was really easy for me to put together... the unit rolled right out of the box and all I had to do was attach the side shelves and plug it in.

From the left... the on/off switch, below that is the pellet prime... the digital temperature read out, then a button that lets you choose to see the actual temperature or the temperature you have it set at...then the last button is to select either smoke or cook.

The unit will go from 180 degrees to 660. Also acts as a convection cooker.
I really like it so far. This is my first experience with pellet cooking.

I'm used to cooking with a shovel, pile of wood and a match. lol This thing is amazing.. set it and forget it.

Very nice looking pellet cooker. What does the cooker do different between cook and smoke though?

Thanks! I like the thing so far.

Here's a little more info on them... http://hearthlandproducts.com/products/grills

It puts out more smoke when using the "smoke" selection than the cook selection.
I just tried the grill feature this weekend.. it worked out great.

So far I've smoked the sausage stuffed pork loin... baked some jalapeno cornbread and made one ham/potato stuffed fattie.
Then grilled some chicken fajitas this weekend.

Al... Great song.. LOL!! I'm going to have that in my head all day. Thanks!

    Thanks everybody...

I have been interested in the Memphis Pro but I am still on the fence between it and FE1000. Any help or ideas would be appreciated.
