    Default Catfish and Tatoes...for Jim

I did catch a few fish Jim! There were 5 of us camping and we were all able to bring home several bags of filets.. It was a nice week.

This was my favorite meal while camping..

    heating the oil...

    the fresh catfish nuggets...

we took turns frying the fish and fries...
who ever cooked had dibs on the "hot from the fire" fish.. so we traded jobs often. My main job was camera girl but I did get to taste a few.

We ate hot fish and fries and washed them down with cold beer....
It was my favorite meal of the week.

Thank you for checking out my campfire meal...

Now that's what I'm talkin' about.

You had the best job. A camera in one hand and a cold one in the other. Set down the cold one long enough to take a sample bite and a pic. Re-set and wait for the next batch to get done.

I'd take a platter or 3! Nothin' better than fresh caught fish. Never had it cooked over a fire like that, though.

    Thank you everybody!
Garylee.. If you lived closer I'd try to convert you. These are white and flakey inside.. and no fishy or muddy taste.
