    Default First cook on new reverse flow

    Today I fired up my new smoker and cured it coating the inside with oil and burning it at 250 to 275 for about 3 hours. Then I fired it up again and smoked 6 chicken quarters at 220 degrees for 2.5 hours. The chicken Turned out very moist and had a nice smoke flavor. I gave some to my next door neighbors and they loved the taste of the chicken.

    I don't know what the actual temp is, but it cooks the way I want it to, so I don't guess it really matters.

    Geez , first cook and he is already feeding the neighbors. Most of us don't get there until the second or third time
    Oh and I guess it's already been mentioned, but please post pics.....
    I am in shape. Round is a shape.
    I LOVE vegetarians! They come in Chicken, Pork, and Beef flavors!
