Default Restaurant BBQ and a thank you

I was just checking out the prices of "City Barbeque" I honestly don't eat out much and was surprised at the cost of BBQ. For example $17.99 for a full rack of St. Louis style ribs. Which is kind of an oxymoron considering that you cut 1/3 off the rack to get down to St. Louis style.

Also $10.99 per lb for pulled pork. I am appreciating this BBQ venture of mine more and more.

I just started BBQ'ing about 2 weeks ago and I have done a 1 picnic roast, 1 pork butt, 3 full racks of spare ribs and 1 rack of St. Loius style. Also 1 spatchcock yardbird.

What to do next. hmm... I think its going to be a beef brisket. And, I have to smoke a fatty one of these days.

If I haven't thanked everyone who has commented on my post...

It is all good but one of the best things are ABT's. How can something wrapped in PORK not be good. My first LOVE is BUTT.

Yup, I think in true tradition, you are due for a brisket.

The $ savings is not the real issue with cooking your own.

the real issue is that the restaurants will not make anything near as good as what you do.
