Default It ain't comp style, but it's how we like it

Got a craving for some BBQ sauced glazed chix, so we did some up.

A little Cowtown Sweet Spot and a little Blues Hog rub,m let it sit a while and grilled it hot to sear, then indirect while saucing. When it was almost done, it went back over the direct heat while saucing over again a few times.

    Here's what it looked like:

Oh yeah, and while the sauce was setting up, I grilled a little fresh picked speargrass from the garden. It soaked in balsamic dressing for an hour or so before hand, and got a little more while it grilled:

And last. but not least, we recooked a left over twice baked tater from a few weeks ago. I guess you could call it thrice baked?????

As for the plated pic.......I was too busy eating.

we also get a cravin for Q glazed chix. That was the way I was raised to cook chix parts and pieces in fact that is how I cooked them in college with rave reviews. Now I have many more guns in the arsenal to cook chix but sometimes always fall back on sauce glazed chix.

    thanks for the memories!!!
