    Default Took this Easter Off

Didn't cook anything. Deceided to take Easter off.
Instead we went out for a Prime Rib Buffet with Broasted Chicken, Ham & fish & all the fixins to go with it.
Even had ice cream cupe & cakes for desert. All for $14.50 per person.
    Very nice meal!
Anyone else take the day off?

I didn't take the day off for a change. I only got in a mini smoke on a spiral sliced ham and the day with the wife's side and egg hunt for the kids.

Sounds like you had a good meal anyway. I'd pay that for a Prime Rib Buffet for sure

I made the sausage and gravy for our Peculiar breakfast this morning, and through a 3 bone pork roast on the HastyBake for supper, but nothing fancy on either end.

I took the day off as well. My wife fired up the drum and smoked a turkey. She did great! I think she was pissed off that I failed to take pics.

The Bubblette needs to join and post her own and show you up every once in a while You need to help her learn the in and outs of posting and just step back and allow her natural talents to show through.

I don't have any pics, so maybe this was just a dream. But I think I took a couple pieces of butterflied lamb leg and smeared them with a gooey mixture of Dijon mustard, fresh garlic, red wine vinegar, EVOO, S&P. Then placed fresh mint sprigs in the middle and rolled 'em up and tied with string. Cling wrapped and marinated overnight.

Easter Sun. they were impaled in a spit rod and spun on the Topper at 325 for about two hrs. to 145 IT. Then thinly sliced and served with a fresh spinach salad and taters nuked with butter and spices. A wonderful Cabernet perfectly complimented the whole thing.
    No pics! Oh well...
