    Default First butt with Stoker

Well I got the stoker hooked up and did my first butt. It was the best one i've cooked yet (it's only the 4th one though) I decided to go hot on the temp since I didn't get it on until late afternoon around 1ish and several people have said theirs came out fine doing them this way. Set the stoker at 300 and let her go. It took about 9 hours for the 7 pounder to hit 200. Well 200 in some spots and 195ish in others but I couldn't wait any longer!! Here are some pics!!

Injected with some BBQ Butcher pork injection and BBG Dry rub

Right off the UDS and getting ready to rest under a foil tent

Done resting and all pulled!! YUM!!!

That BUTT looks fantastic and I do know my BUTT's and anything else pork. Wish I could give it a taste test (2 plates full).

    I like that bark!

How did you like the Butchers products?

    Did you foil at 165?

Thanks evryone! I like the butchers, added a very nice flavor. I didn't foil until it was off the UDS. I put it right on the grate fat side down cooked @ 300 until she was done.
