    Default I Got Rubs!

I got hooked on samples of JB's Fat Boy Rubs I received at a food show. One was the All Purpose Rub and the other was Cowgirl Ride 'em Rub. No place to buy them around here. So once I ran out, I did without.

Then I got some Head country for Christmas and got hooked on that too. Again, no place to buy around here. So I did without.

Then everybody around the Joint has been talkin' about Rooster Booster. No place to buy, so I did without.

Well I decided to go ahead and order Booster online. What the hell, JB sells online too, so does Head Country. So I pounded out orders to all of them and they all arrived within a day or so of each other.

    Here's what I got:

One each All Purpose, Cowgirl and Basic, which I'd never tried.

    The BIG Head Country...

    Hmmm...what's this yellow one??

I opened this one for a taste...

Mmmmm... ...so good. And somehow quite familiar...

Then I opened this one for a taste...

Mmmm......so good...Hey wait a minute! Lemme try this one again...

    Now this one...

Whoa Dude! They taste the same! In a blind tastes test, I don't think I could tell the difference!

Gonna spin some chicken parts tonight. Boosted thighs and Basic wings.

All of these were reasonably priced, but OUCH when you add the shipping. Oh well I'm set for awhile.

Are you sure that they aren't one in the same? Head Country does a lot of private label work. I can find out.

I know a little about the history of Head Country rub that is not common knowledge, but I can;t talk about it in public.

Golly Tom, I don't know either. It was just that you said you couldn't tell any difference in taste, or did I (once again) read that wrong?
