Wow, great looking breakfast. I never thought of using yogurt in pancakes before. I'll have to give it a try.

Well, first, I have to give credit to my new pard, Bassman, for hooking me up with some kick a$$ sourdough starter - I haven't looked back since

I searched the net and found the simplest recipe I could find for pancakes:

    Sponge:
    1 C milk
    1 C starter
    1 C flour
to this I just dumped in one yogurt

    Next morning you add:
    1t baking soda
    1t baking powder
    1/2 t salt
    1T sugar
    2 t oil
    1 egg
beat up all of the above together and mix into the sponge.

use a 1/4 measuring cup to pour onto the griddle - makes probably 12 - 15 cakes.

Biggest difference I've found with adding the yogurt is the "moistness" - kinda like a cake mix with pudding.

    good stuff!
Thanks for checking out my post.
