Default Pix of what I get to eat today

    Here they are:

That's right, a big nothing. I am having my gut scoped tomorrow and get nothing but clear liquids today. then to top it off, at 6:00 this evening, I get to drink 2 gallons of some stuff that will make my colon spew out forcefully anything that remains in it from yesterday.

Thank you for attending my pity party.

I have to have mine this month too! Please allow me to get on my soapbox, every man should have one. I had a ROUTINE colonoscopy last year as part of a complete physical. It revealed a large malignant tumor in my colon.I had no symptoms what so ever and it wasm discovered in the nick of time. Had I waited another 3 months, it would have broken through the colon and spread to my other organs. I had surgery to have it removed plus 6 months of chemo. and I consider myself extremely lucky. if your over 45 and have not had a colonoscopy, GET ONE! Now back to regular programming.

GET ONE - Very important for all. I have had 3 over the years and they are not any problem except for the prep which is DRINKING the 2 gallons of STUFF that TIM is complaining about. YUK-YUK but necessary.

I'm 62 and had my first one last fall. Doc said everything was clean, come back in ten years.

It was bad having to do the cleansing prior to the procedure, but the worst part was going 48 hours without eating. I had Angela drive me straight to the nearest fast food drive thru for 4 jumbo burgers and ate every bite.

Best of luck to ya Tim.
