Default Some Okie Trip Pics -

While at SmokyOkie's Wednesday evening he (1) smoked a hunka baloney on his new drum smoker (2) grilled a bunch of beer brats and sweet Italian sausage on the Hasty Bake (3) Grilled a bunch of veal chops with DaddyHinkels on them on the Hasty Bake (4) Kept Kev and I in cold beer and good conversation.
Here are a few pics -
    • The SDS Pineapple Smoker next to The Okie's Lucille.
    • The SDS in action, if you look close you can see the "thin blue" wafting off the top
    • Veal chops on the Hasty Bake (I need one of those Hasty Bake guys! $779!!!! Gasp!)
    • Remains of the hunka baloney (note the smoked cheese in the background)
    • Veal chops grilled to perfection (though The Okie said they "were a bit over cooked" !!!! Imagine that!) (I have to give him an 8 on the grill marks)

I don't know how I missed this thread, but I did.

It was a great evening, indeed! The food was outstanding, the company was beyond compare, and the beer was cold! What more could you want? (BTW, Mike, have you started building my drum smoker yet? )

Nothing I could do. PigCicles was here with half a load of cherry on his truck.
It was all I had for trading material.

I'll get one "in the works". Not a "56" gallon though.

It appears that the Okie was up to his usual tricks, conversing with Mr. Coors again no doubt.
