    Default New "Pit"

Wife and kids like to roast marshmallows, make smores, cook hot dogs/burgers, and just sit by a fire in the evenings during summer. Wife bought a "pit" a few yrs ago, and I thought it was a "piece of pit". Was just plan'n on use'n an old tractor tire rim and putting it somewhere, just couldn't find the right place. Then I found this. It is pretty neat. It's 3' diameter, also comes in 4', has a shelf/warmer, a pot hanger(not pictured), a "rotis", and the main grate that can be raised and lowered w/the cable. Easy to break down for just a big pit, or what ever you want to use. Only problem I see is it takes 2 people to move it and no air vents in the bottom, like a weber one touch.

Anyway, I got this for the wife as a V-day gift and an early anniversary gift(3 months early).

Had it in the shop to try it out and show them. It will be nice to move it where ever they want it.

That looks like a handy little item. I could use something like that at the lake. After you have had an opportunity to cook on it, give us some feed back and pictures of your cook.

Very nice indeed. Are you sure you got it for the wife and kids or for you? With the cooking grate and rotisserie I think maybe NOT!

LOL! I'll find a place for some pellets, give me time.

NO! It is for the wife and kids!

BTW, it really is for the wife and kids. I like my pellet pooper and the one touch. But this thing will be fun w/wood, my next project...look'n for trees.
