    Default Eastern MI event

Someone here put a bug in my ear about looking into an event over in the Thumb area. There is a org called the Great Lakes BBQ Association, and I'd lean on them a bit too for a hand. But- just for a "feeler" anyone like the idea?

Could prolly draw some of our Canuckian smokers too... Some nice parks with trailer capabilities around. I think some even have those little cement mounted post grills!

BBQ Bubba would probably be the man you should talk to.

Well I'm gonna pick a tentative date- July 16-17th. Friday-Sat. Or could be a Sat-Sun thing. Most comps are Friday-Sat tho. Not that this would have to be that format. Depends on who's cooking what I suppose. Whaddia think?

Sounds like a gathering of drunk uplanders to me. I would love to make my way up there. Too early to tell what my schedule will be doing then though.
