    Default My wife's sister

has a rare condition that required an operation on Thanksgiving Day that has been preformed so little that the 15 surgeons that were involved in a procedure had never preformed it. The surgery lasted 12 1/2 hours. Since then she has had 6 more surgeries. Four days ago she a mass stroke. Helen's husband and two sons today had to make choice on continuing treatment. It was decided to discontinue anything but keeping her comfortable.

My wife is very calm at this moment but I know she is crushed, Helen was her best friend. I feel quite helpless, all I can do is give support, it doesn't seem enough.

Let your family and friends know how you feel about them.

My thoughts are with James B family and John while they are going through hard times.

Sorry to hear about this Jim. Just be there and keep offering whatever she needs for support. That's pretty much any of us can do when a family member is in those situations.

All one can do is offer support and try to remember the GOOD TIMES. She may not be there in body but the SPIRIT of knowing her will live on.

What a terrible time of year to have to endure a tragedy like this.

You know our thoughts are with you all, and may the season find some way of bringing you and yours peace.
