    Default Too cold to Q Fried Chicken

    Well It's too cold to Q here so I cooked a chicken on my Masterbuilt deep fryer. It came out amazing!

    About 20 minutes for a 4.5 pound bird. I injected it and seasoned it with Yardbird by Plowboys.

    That looks fantastic! I thought about fryin' a turkey for Thanksgiving, but didn't want to spend so much $ for the oil. That cookin' machine you got there prolly does the job w/out so much oil. I like it!

    And I also like the chix cooked that way even better than turks. A friend hooked me up with some half priced peanut oil. I'm gonna do a clucker tomorrow.

    Yes it only uses 2 gallons of oil. I cooked a turkey with it for Thanksgiving too:
