    Default Also new here.Minnesnowta!!

Hi all. I just found this place. Seems real nice.I will have to do some reading here first.

I run a Char-Griller with the side fire box.My cooking has greatly improved since I got it 2 years ago. Before that I used a Weber Smokey Joe for 25 years,Not the same one though.I still use one now and then.
I make my own sauces and rubs. I also do Chinese cooking. That is mainly a winter time thing. It's too cold here in the winter to go tend the CG.

Cooking isn't my only hobbie.I have way too many of them.I have a 1971 VW bus. I like to work on it and drive it around. What a babe magnet!!! I also do historical re-enactments. My time period is the French and Indian war.Mid to late 1700's. I am trying to work my BBQ skills into that time frame. The trick is coming up with a period cooker.

I am going to look around the rest of the site now. See you all later. Jeff T

Uff da Jeff! Good to see you here at The Joint!
Do ya hang around out at Ft. Snelling any doing the reenactment thing?
I used to live up north in East Bethel, a bit north of Blaine & Ham Lake.
Transferred to KC, sold the snow blower, don't even own a down coat any more.
Oh yeah, I used to smoke in the winter up there, neighbors thought I was nuts. They liked my ribs though.

I have never done Ft. Snelling. I have been to Ft.Ridgley by New Ulm and Ft Sissiton in S.D. I teach a lot of classes at these things though. We have school kids come through.Lots of fun and a lot of humor to go with it. Jeff

Nope, naw, nuh-uh, not me. Must be some other handsome, smart Texas boy. There's a few of us with "evil twins" around there.

    Oops, gotta go.
