Default IT'S ON - Stockton Lake, MO, Nov. 7-8

Nov. 7-8 LAST FLING 'TIL SPRING
ALL Q JOINT MEMBERS WELCOME! Let me know if you are attending.
Three takers so far - Peculiarmike, Pigcicles, Buzzards Roost. One maybe.

Disclaimer - If it rains there is not a shelter in this campground and I see no point in doing this in the rain, miserable.
WATCH THE WEATHER AND THIS FORUM!!!! We might cancel.

    Here's the info -
    http://www.mostateparks.com/stockton.htm
Click on "Additional information" for directions, an area map and a park map.

West Campground, Stockton State Park, Stockton Lake, MO.

We will each just get a camp site in the West Campground, should be plenty open sites, no reservation needed. May be a few deer hunters camped there. $18 a night, electricity, paved site. Water available close. Showerhouse, flush toilets, washer/dryer. Not far to Stockton, MO, grocery, gas, etc., available.

If you prefer to "rough it smoothly" there are log "camper cabins" available in the West Campground, little guys, queen bed, sofa, table, chairs, $59 a night. Bring your own linens, pillows, towels, etc. See this site -
    http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=sto...p=mss&ei=UTF-8
Scroll through and look it over, it has pics, maps, directions.

OR, if you prefer it SMOOTHER, Mt. Carmel Inn is close by -
    http://www.lakestockton.com/mtcarmel.htm
Check it out. It's OK. I stay there when fishing tournaments if not camping.
    NOW -
    Camping gear of course. Chairs.
Bring your drum, or whatever toys you prefer, and something to cook & share with the group. Need some sides also, your choice. Paper plates, utensils, glasses, napkins. Jane & I will do Fatty Breakfast Burritos for the group Saturday morning. Rest of the meals the group will be cooking and sharing what they brung unless someone wants to do a meal.
We'll be fine, and stuffed, as always.
Warm clothes, firewood if you have it and can haul it. I'll bring some hedge. Yer boat if wanting to fish or hoorah around the lake.
SO! SEE YOU THERE! (If it doesn't rain)
