Home Depot and Lowe's carry several models. I just purchased one via eBay and will report on its use after I have used it a time or two.

Or, you can just click on the Oregon Scientific icon in the supporting vendors box on the left side of this page. We get a small discount. The OS 131 is one of the best.

Sounds like you got a good deal. YES Organ Scientific is one of our sponsors and I also have an older Organ Scientific that I had forgotten about. Will drag it out and have a second thermometer.

So you guys just put the probe in at the beginning of the smoke and when the internal temp reaches what you want, it's done??? Is there a chart somewhere that has the temps of different meats and their internal "done" temp?
