    I grilled up a couple pounds of shrimp with 3 different spice combos.


    seasoned and ready for the grill


    sizzling away


    served with some oriental noodles cooked in teriyaki sauce with some green onions and roasted red pepper.

    OK. here we go.


    The skewer on the left in the pic had a smoked paprika-chipotle mix. This one I mixed a little heavy on the heat. Flavor would have been good, but as Pam said, only a fire-eater could like it. Needs a lot more work.

    Middle 2 skewers were a citrus-garlic mix. lemon, lime, garlic, white pepper, and some other goodies. This one was very good with the shrimp. First time I made this one. I think this mix is going to be one of my favorites. Just needs some tweaking.

    The skewer on the right was the chipotle- lime mix. This was the best batch I have made of this so far. I think I almost have it worked out. It's very good.

    They are all my little works in progress.
