    It was fun ,but I didn't get her hot enough for the bananas I did after the chicken.Oh well it all tasted good to me

    Ya know Paul, if you just keep making grub like that and ffeding the guy that owns the cooker, he'll most likely tell you to keep it just so that he can keep on getting the good food.

    Great job. Red beans, Zatarains?

    For those of you that like the red beans but don;t want the hassle, Blue Runner brand canned red beans are just about like home made.

    To me, Jambalaya is a main dish, not a side.
    While I can certainly make a meal of it as a main dish I also love it as a side. Got the idea years ago when I had leftovers that weren't enough for a meal so I served as a side for Q.
    I've also done it the other way around; leftover brisket, butt, chix mixed into jambalaya. Love it either way.

    We used to have some Cajun neighbors that put pineapple chunks in their jambalaya.

    Among other things, Eckrich smoked sausage and pineapple. As I recall, it was pretty good.
