Default I went to the Hudson Valley Ribfest today

I went to the ribfest today. I was not that impressed with the fest. I guess if your a competitor things would be different. They had 4-6 booths selling Q and a hand full of other vendors selling food/rubs/Sauce ect.. It killed 2 hours of my day and that included travel time.
A couple pics of the food vendors, I had the combo from Smoke n dudes and it was good, but nothing special. My wife said my Q was better

The Comp people had some Cool banners up and some interesting smokers.. A couple pics..

It was fun, but I don't think I'd go every year. It was HOT, HOT and I was there at 11am.
Picked up some Plow boy rub.. 3 for $20

So I'm trying it out on some Chic thighs.

It always is better when you cook it yourself.

Looks like a good way to kill a few hours. My wife says the same thing about my "Q"....I still feel compelled to try others...I'm almost alyways dissappointed.

One of the guys on the Queer Eye team makes Willie B's rubs (sweet, bourbon, and spicy)

    Good chit.

Just finished up a shaker a month or so ago.

I spotted a few Eggs in them photos too.

    Thanks for the pics.

Heard on Weather Channel that it was warm there.
