    Default WSM Mods

A couple of pics of the mods to my WSM.
    Closed position indicator for door.

Wood handles (from my retired ECB), sanded and stained. Metal was sanded, painted with High Temp paint and clear coated.

    Clay pot base: 36cm/14.25 inches

Perfect fit in original water pan

Doesn't disturb the bottom grate at all

I'll foil the clay bottom before I use it.

Three wheels. 2 wheels lock. Very stable.

I saw this mod on and thought it was a great idea.

It will hold 2 - Maverick ET-73 Digital Thermometers

    Started with a piece of wood. BHT 13,5 cm X 10 cm X 2cm

    Drilled two holes 4cm deep.

Holder is a Weber 1201 Tool Holder

Bend the two center hooks inward

    Mount the Thermo holders

Push the hooks into the holes

Need to paint and maybe put metal between the wood and the WSM .
