    Default Robatayaki Grill

I had never heard of this form of Japanese grilling.

Thought you might find this grill interesting

Cool Grill....I've never heard of that type of cooker either. Very Familiar with Teppan cooking, but that's about as far as my knowledge of Japanese cooking goes.

They look good, heavy built, commercial. Out of my price range I'm sure.
I'd like to try some authentic Japanese grub rustled up on one though.

I think they call that Hibachi cooking Paul.

I don't know anything about Robata grilling, but I am familiar with JR Mfg.

they are the ones that make the Oyler which is in my opinion, the Rolls Royce of the stickburner, and sell for around $35K.

While I have never cooked on one, I have seen one in action. A little Q Joint down the street from my office has one.

I'm sure it is a charcoal grill to die for.

I remembered the company when you were talking to SmokinJim.I was on the prairie bbq site and saw one of their rotisseries and stumbled on the robata.
