    Default They're starting to grow

Our pineapples are finally starting to get some size to them. Seems like it's takin' longer this year for them to get going. But, it won't be much longer and I'll have fresh pineapple.

    Very cool.

Fortunately they just grow in the wild up here so I don't have to plant any.

Growing pineapples is one of Pam's hobbies. She has 14 or 15 plants that will bear fruit this year ( 2 to 4 year old plants ) and another 10 or 12 ranging in age from 6 months to 1 1/2 years old. The plants don't mature and start to bear fruit until they are 2 years old.
Hey, it's her hobby, I'm not saying anything. I just help trim the plants once in a while and eat the pineapples.
