    if crimped barrel means the one that is about 1/4-1/2 rolled instead of rolled all the way then yes.....

    it was an olive oil barrel......

    Is the "bead" of the drum round or flat crimped? Is it like the diagram at the front of the thread, or folded flat?

    Keep grinding...you will know it when you see it...take about a 4" swipe and keep gradually taking material off and you will see the line develop. It's there, trust me.

    I tried and even grinded down the entire lip and did not see the seperation, if by any chance you have a photo maybe I can see what you did and WHAT I AM MISSING...

    I got the pic of the person who was able to grind off the top....that barrel looks like it's crimped......

    Mine doesn't have that flat (even) lid to side of barrel edge, mine looks like it has a lip on it...and it's about 1/2-1 inch (raised) The top of the lid is loser than the lip.....

    I COMPLETELY UNDERSTANND the flat Drum edging grinding...it's the rounded Lid LIP type that is getting me
