I said, "not for the money I pay for entry fees and to just be here" besides I get enough of them at golf tournaments.
We'll look forward to seeing you there tomorrow Russ!

As to the umbrellas, they know how Team Q Joint feels about them.

As in the last scene of Austin Powers when the Japanese guys throws a shoe at him he asks the audience " Who throws a shoe anyway?"

I asked the "Who gives away an umbrella anyway?

I just went out and had a ribbon made to replace it. It only cost $10.

BTW, Jeremy, be sure to bring it with you. We can use it to run the turn in boxes with.

2 ribs stuck together so we got the partial DQ on ribs, but we ended up 43 out of 54 even with the DQ. Sat slightly ahead of middle of the pack on the other categories. Chicken and pork were great, but didn't score like we thought they should.

    Doo Doo occurs.

Ummmmmmmmmmm...................... who's putting your rib boxes together?
Not enough ribs, ribs "stuck together"..... rib pattern developing here?

Close attention to detail and double checking is the ticket to happy turn-in boxes.

Problem was that the ribs were overcooked. they were so overcooked that I was afraid to move them too much for fear that some meat would break off and cost us on appearance.

Using hindsight, we would've been points ahead to have taken that chance. Learn and live. The big question to me is why wouldn't the ribs bark up before they got overcooked?
