Default Roll Call for the Northern Midwest Q Joint BBQ Event

As Okie had stated in another thread looks like I may be working on the road for awhile (Pittsburgh area), not meaning that I will not be completely involved in the event all the way but that it might get alittle harder to organize something. (may havta call on ya Joneser for some local contacts, everything via phone)

The big items are in place, location, dates are confirmed and listed below. Just out of pure correspondence I am thinking right now around 12 folks or a bit more will be coming to the event. Mike, I have spoke with the electrician at the location and he is going to walk me through the hook ups and amps of service available, right now I can tell you everything will be 110. I am thinking anything more than 3 RVs and we are going to run into power trouble so I will have to take reservations for folks thinking about RVs. Either that or you may only be able to power the AC through keeping your campers turned on.

I wanted to get this started to have a better understanding of whom will be attending the event..... here are the specs.

The date that we have it reserved are:
    Fri 07/31/09
    Sat 08/1/09
    Sun 08/2/09
Please feel free to come when ya can, I am planning on being there Fri. afternoon thru Sun early afternoon, watchin TBS and having an adult beverage or two!! We are planning on bringin the 2 BBQ hound dogs but all pets must be kept on leashes.

I have the hall reserved which means we have the kitchen with frig, stove, etc etc. There is a big pavilion that we can set the pits up around that also has power ran out to it. There is a real nice fire ring and plenty of wood. There is a lake that has great fishin that is available. There really aren't designated camping spots but plenty of space to pitch a tent. I have to keep the RV's in the gravel parking area but that is real close to the action already. I have 110 available for the RVers. I will also include some hotels/motels close by that are within a few minutes travel for those that want.

I am planning on a food free for all!!! I will make up a lil food wish list for items those that are attending want to bring but remember "free for all" bring whatever you want. I really don't mind eating ribs everyday!!! And of course "something cool to drink!"

Any hoo, this is a roll call, let me know. And remember this is not engraved in stone as I completely understand how things change, just make sure you get back to me if something comes up.

Thanks for reading, lets start the counts!

I will be there fri-sunday, hopefully the warden will be with me, she has the tether control ya know!

I plan on draggin the Lang 60 down with me along with the usual stuff I need for comps, so I can help with some of the cooking, that is if you guys don't mind food cooked with red oak!

Hehehe. I do alright with larger animals parts, but struggle with the rabbits and chickens some, so someone else can do them, and I'll watch.

Lookin forward to meeting a few and seeing how much trouble I can stay out of.

    Talking

The time is getting closer for the Northern Midwest (Indiana) Event so I want to start to get a head count. It has been a little while.

Here is a list of who thought they might be able to come:

    Richtee
    Willkat
    Jake
    Copkid
    jts70
tsunami tommy, <------I am going to put you in as your coming

Here is a personal invite from me:

    the selling the blues man

And I think Peculiar Mike it going to try to make the trek.

Would like to get the list updated, let me know if I have left anyone out.
