    Default First drum started

I picked up two drums today and enough hardware to build one. Harbor Freight had one inch ball valves for nine bucks.
In the morning I will drill the holes and burn out the drums. By day's end, one drum should be ready to cook on. WELL, I have under estimated myself before. Thanks for the support!
    Pictures tomorrow.

Thats a mighty short deadline you set for yourself. I'm getting ready to build a couple myself, but I doubt mine will be ready that fast. Can't wait to see your pictures.

If you have all the materials and the motivation, I can see cranking out a drum in a day or afternoon.....Looking forward to lots of pix, good luck with your build!

I don't know what the actual temp is, but it cooks the way I want it to, so I don't guess it really matters.

Too late to return them. Both drums are drilled and fitted for the one inch valves. I am burning one in as I type. Got the pictures too. I will be editing them for posting in a few minutes.
I need to get a temp gauge and build the coal basket.I may get it painted this afternoon.
